The GCS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is a high-performance distribution solution jointly developed by industry authorities, power design institutes, and the original mechanical and power departments. Designed to meet national conditions and modern power market requirements, it delivers strong technical performance and competitive advantages comparable to imported products.

Application Fields

This switchgear is widely used in power stations, petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, metallurgical industries, textile factories, and high-rise commercial buildings. It is especially suitable for automation-intensive environments requiring computer-integrated management, such as large power generation stations and petrochemical systems.

The equipment operates in three-phase AC 50/60 Hz power systems with a rated working voltage of 380 V and rated current up to 4000 A. It is used for power distribution, motor centralized control, and reactive power compensation. The product strictly complies with IEC 439-1, IEC 61439-1, and GB 7251.1 standards.

Structural Features

The main framework uses high-strength 8MF profile steel, designed with φ9.2 mm mounting holes arranged in 20 mm and 100 mm modules for flexible installation.

Two framework assembly options are available: full assembly structure and partial welding structure (side frame and cross rail), allowing users to choose according to application needs.

Each functional compartment is independently isolated and consists of three main parts: function units, busbar compartment, and cable compartment. This ensures high safety, clear functional division, and simplified maintenance.

The horizontal busbar is positioned at the rear of the cabinet, increasing resistance to electrodynamic forces and ensuring higher short-circuit withstand capability.

The cable compartment design allows convenient cable entry and exit from both the upper and lower sections, enhancing installation flexibility.

Operating Conditions

Altitude should not exceed 2000 m.

Installation inclination should not exceed 5°.

Ambient air temperature range: −5°C to +40°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C.

At maximum temperature, relative humidity should not exceed 50%. Higher humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20°C). Occasional light condensation due to temperature changes is acceptable.

No excessive dust, corrosive gases, or moisture should be present at the installation site.
