Core (Magnetic Circuit System)

The magnetic core is manufactured from high-permeability cold-rolled silicon steel sheets using a full-oblique seam lamination structure. The stepped cross-sectional design significantly reduces no-load losses by 30%–40% compared to traditional S11 series transformers. With low hysteresis losses and quiet operation, the core is coated with durable anti-rust resin for additional protection and extended service life.

Winding System (Electrical Circuit System)

The 10kV high-voltage winding adopts a multi-layer cylindrical structure, using high-quality copper or aluminum conductors. Each turn is wrapped with DMD insulation, improving mechanical strength and enhancing resistance to short-circuit forces. The 0.4kV low-voltage winding is produced using copper foil, effectively reducing eddy current losses and improving heat dissipation. The insulation system applies Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) technology with Class H insulation materials rated up to 180°C, while vacuum oil injection eliminates internal air bubbles for optimized electrical performance.

Oil Tank and Cooling System

The transformer features a fully sealed corrugated steel oil tank designed to accommodate oil expansion without the need for an external conservator. This structure prevents oxygen and moisture intrusion, providing stable, maintenance-free operation. Cooling is achieved through natural oil circulation (ONAN), with corrugated fins that deliver efficient heat dissipation without requiring additional fan systems.

Protective Devices

Safety and monitoring components include a pressure relief valve that activates when internal pressure exceeds 35 kPa to prevent tank damage. A Buchholz relay detects gas accumulation caused by internal faults and initiates alarms or tripping circuits, standard for units above 315kVA. Additionally, PT100 sensor-based temperature monitoring systems provide real-time oil temperature tracking for enhanced operational safety.

Tap Changer

The transformer is equipped with a No-Load Tap Changer (NLTC) offering adjustable voltage ranges of ±5% or ±2×2.5% on the high-voltage side. Adjustments require de-energization, ensuring reliable voltage regulation and compatibility with varying grid conditions.

Bushings and Terminals

High-voltage bushings are made from porcelain or composite silicone rubber, providing a creepage distance of ≥25 mm/kV and enhanced anti-pollution flashover protection. Low-voltage terminals utilize tinned copper busbars with anti-oxidation treatment to ensure stable, high-current connections.
