The buried transformer, also known as a buried box transformer, features an innovative split combined structure. It consists of a buried transformer unit, a prefabricated pit, and a low-voltage distribution cabinet integrated with a media light box. The high-voltage and transformer components are installed underground, eliminating surface occupation, significantly reducing high-voltage risks, and minimizing electromagnetic radiation.
Above ground, the media advertising light box integrates the low-voltage distribution cabinet discreetly, enhancing urban aesthetics. This design occupies only one-fifth of the area of a traditional European box transformer, making it an ideal solution for space-constrained urban environments.
Many media light boxes are equipped with energy-saving and long-lasting LED lighting, offering up to 80% higher efficiency than traditional light sources. This makes the buried transformer suitable for street lighting, airports, commercial centers, tourist attractions, municipal squares, and other public spaces. Its energy-efficient and environmentally friendly design aligns with the global push towards sustainable energy distribution.
ZTelec can manufacture buried transformers with high-voltage ratings up to 35kV and capacities up to 2000kVA. Each unit can be customized according to customer-specific requirements, including voltage, capacity, and design features, providing a reliable and flexible underground power solution for modern urban and industrial projects.
